Such a great find in Siena. Food was amazing and the service was outstanding. We came here with a large group and enjoyed every minute of our meal. They also have the best music -80s. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience and the memories during our visit.

Found by chance, we were looking for a quiet place for lunch. The parmigiana was one of the best I've tried. I really enjoyed the different flavour of the sage and almond pesto with the aldente pici.

Excellent dinner. Lovely and cozy-looking place with nice staff, great and authentic food, local flavors. We had polenta with sausage and parmesan sauce, truffle tagliatelle, pici with pesto and almonds, Angus beef tagliata with truffle and lard, and all were delicious. They also have excellent wines for good prices - try the Rosso di Montalcino or the Nobile di Montepulciano. Absolutely recommended.
Very good food, quick service, my son who claimed not to be hungry, cleaned his plate just as we did. We even received a free coffee :) If anything to improve: our bottle of Prosecco was put on the table, instead of into a bucket of ice next to our table, so at the end it was warmish

The restaurant is pretty interesting. The first thing we noticed while entering the Tufi gate was the cool waiter smoking outside. We walked all around the old city searching for a restaurant with a real Italian atmosphere and without filthy tourists, which the city was full of at the moment, so we went back here.
Had a nice meal with a glass of wine. Our dogs even got water, and we got Limoncello on the house.
Can't recommend it more if you want to run away from crowds and expensive tourist trap places.

Great food, we had the famous florentine steak, cooked to perfection. Kind service and good recommendations. We didn't feel as if we were in a tourist trap, the restaurant was full of Italians! Really great local wine selection too! We will hopefully be back! Grazie!

Better late than never! I'm writing months after my visit to say thanks and to compliment the team at Boccon del Prete. We had a fantastic meal and experience here during our visit to Siena. (As an American tourist, I'm not sure why there's not more buzz about Siena, but alas, I guess that's good news for me). This restaurant showcases the best of Italian cuisine by letting the fresh ingredients do the talking. I still dream about the cacio e pepe I ate :) Two gentlemen attended to us and they struck the perfect balance of attentiveness and professionalism. I spoke a mix of very poor Italian and English to them and they were sincerely kind; you can't fake that kindness.
I'm sorry to see the bad reviews proceeding mine ....which look fake, truth be told. Ahh the bots. Anyway, don't be thrown off by that.

Amazing traditional restaurant close to the Duomo. Food was great and decent service. Definitely worth it if you are wanting an authentic experience!

Amazing food, well priced, large portions. Highly recommend the potatoes with steak - generous portions, very tasty. The service was slightly rude and not the best. Normally I would've rounded this down to 4 stars but the food met up for it to make it a 5 star.
Great food and wine. An awesome place to spend Christmas or any other day of the year. Special mention goes to the potato ravioli and the bacala crepes. Highly recommended!
The service was great, the food and wine were extraordinary. Very competitive prices for the quality. Definitely one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. I would go back to Siena only for this place!!!
